The best interfaces sold on-line at Logjam Electronics The Blitzsafe BMW/ALP DMX V.1DSP is your DSP solution to all your Alpine CD changer interface and/or auxiliary input converter needs!! What was not possible before now is very possible with this CD changer interface from Blitzsafe. Allows you to connect most Alpine 6 disc CD changers to most 1996 to 2004 BMW Becker or Alpine factory radio through the pre-wired factory cable located in the trunk (see specific application list below). This adapter NOT compatible with the 1997 7-Series BMW.

Does NOT work with the Alpine-made factory CD changer. This device does work with the Alpine CHM-S630 6 Disc CD Changer and the Alpine CHA-S634 6 Disc MP3 CD Changer when used in conjunction with the CPKCA130B Adapter (needed for the CHA-S634 only).

INSTALLATION WARNING: Some BMWs are factory wired for a cellular phone. Except for wire location, the cell phone connector looks identical to the 3-pin power connector used for the CD changer and if connected, will damage your system. The CORRECT 3-pin connector for the CD changer has a BROWN wire (ground) in the #1 pin position. The INCORRECT 3-pin connector has the BROWN wire in the center or #2 position. Connecting the wrong 3-pin connector to the interface WILL damage the CD changer and interface and cause them to not work properly!
