The Blitzsafe FORD/CAN M-LINK2-FME is specifically designed to work with the two-piece factory radio found in a few 2008 Escapes and 2008 Mariners, where the radio and the radio display are two separate pieces.

Important Compatibility Information:
Works with all iPods with a bottom dock connector including the iPod Classic, 3rd Generation Nano, iPod Touch, and the iPhone, EXCEPT the new 3G iPhone will not charge while connected.
Works with either the factory satellite tuner or the factory Rear Seat Entertainment/DVD (RSE) installed - Will NOT work if you have both the satellite tuner AND the RSE installed and connected.
Works with or without the in-dash single CD player or 6-disc in-dash CD changer, and will not disable either function.
Works with or without the external factory CD changer and does not disable the CD changer.
Works with factory navigation radios and does not disable the nav function.
Auxiliary input is an audio-only connection and does not provide text display or device control of the audio device connected through the auxiliary input.
