The Blitzsafe HON/XM DMX CMD V.1D is a dual interface that allows you to connect both an Alpine 6-disc CD changer and the Terk XM Commander to many 1998 through 2003 Honda and Acura vehicles (see below for specific vehicle applications). The 14-pin connector on the interface plugs into the rear of the radio while the 3-pin connector and male RCA connectors on the interface plug into the XM Commander providing power and audio output for the XM Commander, providing a direct connection to your factory radio and eliminating the need for an FM modulator.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This device does NOT allow your factory radio to control the XM Commander. You will still need the XM Commander's display and control unit to be connected.
Compatible with most Alpine 6-disc CD changers including the Alpine CHM-S630 6 Disc CD Changer as well as the Alpine CHA-S634 6 Disc MP3 CD Changer when used in conjunction with the ALP/Ai-M Interface Adapter.
Compatibility Information:
For Acura: Compatible with all models from 1999-2004 except RL, SLX, and 2003-2004 TSX.
For Honda: Compatible with 1998 Accord plus all Honda models from 1999-2004 except all Passport and the 2003-2004 Accord.
Plugs into the rear of the factory radio.
Factory radio must have an unused 14-pin square connector socket at the rear of the radio.
NOT compatible the vehicles with factory navigation systems.
NOT compatible with vehicles that have the factory in-dash 6-disc factory CD changer.
NOT compatible with vehicles that have the standard AM/FM radio with a single disc satellite-mounted CD player
