So, you've already paid the money for an auxiliary input converter but now want an iPOD interface that will connect to the bottom contector of your iPOD and also charge your iPOD. Here's the product you're looking for! The Blitzsafe UII iPODŽ interface is a unique iPOD interface that will work with any radio in any vehicle that already has an auxiliary input converter installed.

This device connects to your auxiliary input converter's RCA connectors and to the bottom connector of your iPOD. You then connect the ground (Blk) wire, the switched 12V (Red) wire and the constant 12V (Yellow) wire and you are all set. When connected, you will get the cleanest sound, plus it will also charge your iPOD while you are using it. The UII will also charge the iPod for an additional twenty minutes after vehicle ignition is turned off and the UII senses that the switched 12V is shut down. Because of its unique design, the iPod will never be overcharged if left unattended.

Compatible with the iPOD Classic, iPOD mini, iPOD nano, G3, G4, and G5 iPODs, plus the 1st generation iPhone™. Note: The new 3G iPhone as well as the new iPOD Touch, the new iPOD Classic and the new iPOD nano-chromatic will work with this interface but the devices will NOT charge when connected without the P.I.E. CC-iPD 5V Charging Adapter (sold separately - see below for ordering).

IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTES:

  • The Universal iPOD Interface is NOT a stand-alone unit and must be connected to either an Auxiliary Input Converter's RCA inputs or to the auxiliary input of an after market headunit.
  • The UII does not allow control of the iPOD through your factory radio. IPOD control remains with the iPOD.
