Part#: aPAC-NIS1 2004-2010 Nissan/Infiniti Auxiliary Audio Input (See Specific Vehicle Application List below)

The aPAC-NIS1 allows direct input of one or two preamp level audio sources to most 2004-2008 and a few 2007-2010 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles (Please see Specific Vehicle Application List below) that are factory XM or Sirius satellite-ready. Works with or without the satellite receiver installed unless so noted in Specific Vehicle Application List below. It has two auxiliary inputs which are selected by the "SAT" or "Radio" button on face of radio.

With this device installed, you will have created two auxiliary audio inputs to your factory radio, which will allow you to plug in any two external audio sources, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod, and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device.

APPLICATION NOTES:

  • Vehicle MUST be either equipped with, or have the ability to support Satellite Radio
  • Radio must have a "SAT" button or have "CH", "CHANNEL", "CAT" or "CATEGORY" printed somewhere on the face of the radio to be compatible. This is usually located near the Tune or Seek buttons. Vehicle Specific Notes
  • In 2004-2007 Infiniti vehicles equipped with factory satellite tuner must be disconnected at the tuner for the aPAC-NIS1 to work correctly.
