The C2R-FRD1 makes it possible when replacing the factory radio in many 2005 - 2008 Ford made vehicles (see specific vehicle application list below) to retain the factory Rear Seat Entertainment, Aux Input jack, Rear Seat Controls and factory amplifier (if equipped) as well as auto detects
and enables the factory Digital THXII amplifier (if equipped). While retaining the factory Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE), it also allows the factory Headphone/Rear Speaker switching (if equipped). WAIT, there's more!! In addition, it enables rear headphones to listen to DVD audio when the rear speaker are disabled, and turns the headphones off when the rear speakers are
enabled, just like the factory radio. The C2R-FRD1 provides an Accessory output with a 10 minute RAP timer and also provides Reverse, Parking Break, Illumination and Vehicle Speed Sense (VSS) outputs. This is a sweet headunit replacement interface that has pretty much thought of everything!
