   The OS-311b is a plug-n-play interface that allows replacement of the new GM LAN factory radio, with or without the factory amplifier in many 2004-2007 GM vehicles (see specific vehicle application below), and will maintain the operation of the OnStar® system. The OS-311b has on-board switching and audio amplifiers which allow the audio from the OnStar system to play through the two front speakers when OnStar is active. This interface retains all of the warning chimes and audible turn signal indicators, plus provides a data bus generated 12 volt accessory output that performs just as GM’s R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power) system performed prior to radio removal. R.A.P. keeps the radio powered after the key is off, until the driver door is opened or a 10 minute timer ends, whichever comes first.
Application Information
The OS-311 will work with or without factory amplified audio systems.
