  The OS-3 is a plug-n-play interface that allows replacement of the new GM LAN non-Bose factory radio in many 2006-2007 GM vehicles (see specific vehicle application below), and will maintain the operation of the OnStar® system. The OS-3 has on-board switching and audio amplifiers which allow the audio from the OnStar system to play through the two front speakers when OnStar is active. This interface retains all of the warning chimes and audible blinker indication and Rear Park Assist (RPA), plus provides a data bus generated 12 volt accessory output that performs just as GM’s R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power) system performed prior to radio removal. R.A.P. keeps the radio powered after the key is off, until the driver door is opened or a 10 minute timer ends, whichever comes first.Application Information

Dual Zone controls are retained using Dual Zone radios.
