The PIE CHRY02/PC-ALP connects an Alpine 6-disc CD changer to the factory radio in many 2002 through 2006 Chrysler made vehicles (Please see Specific Vehicle Application List below), that have a CD Changer controlling factory radio installed. Interface connects to the CD changer data port in the rear of the factory radio.
Installation is simple as this CD changer interface connects to the 10-pin connector, shown at right, that is located on the back of the factory radio using the vehicle specific cable that comes with the interface (Click on image to see larger photo of the rear of the radio).
This interface is compatible with the Alpine CHM-S610/620/630 6 Disc CD Changers as well as the Alpine CHA-S634 6 Disc MP3 CD Changer, when used in conjunction with the ALP-Ai-M cable Adapter.
Important Compatibility Information:
The CHRY02/PC-ALP is NOT compatible with factory navigation radio (RB1 or RB4)
The CHRY02/PC-ALP is NOT compatible with the in-dash 6-disc Radio (RBQ)
