GM Radio Removal Instructions Product Description:
The GM2L-POD/S iPod interface is designed to connect any iPod directly to the new GM LAN factory radio found in many 2003-2008 GM vehicles with the Class II factory radio (Please see Specific Vehicle Application List below). This interface gives you digital quality sound, charges your iPod, gives you control of the iPod from the factory radio and steering wheel controls, if your vehicle is so equipped, and comes complete with everything you need to install it. All factory options, including XM if so equipped, continue to operate as before; you do not lose any radio functions or features! The GM2L-POD/S uses one of two wiring harnesses for easy installation using factory connectors. There is no need to cut or splice any wires, including power and ground!
IMPORTANT: You will need to select one of two harnesses (included in the price), depending on whether or not your vehicle has the factory XM tuner installed. (see above at 'Shopping Cart' button for wiring harness selection)
 The GM2L-POD/S also has an auxiliary input in addition to the iPod interface, allowing you to connect another external audio device to your factory radio through the left & right RCA-type auxiliary input connectors, shown at left. See "Additional Add-on Items", shown below, for any additional cables or connectors you might need to connect your specific audio device to the RCA-type auxiliary input connectors, seen in the image at left, on this interface.
