Installation is simple as this auxiliary input converter connects to the 8-pin round DIN-type connector, shown at right, at the rear of the factory radio using the vehicle-specific cable that comes with the interface (Click on image to see larger rear-view of radio). Connector location will vary from radio to radio in the various vehicle models and years, as many different radios styles were used in the Acura and Honda vehicle models during this time frame. However, all will have the same 8-pin round DIN-type connector.

With this device installed, you will have created an auxiliary audio input to your factory radio, which will now allow you to plug in any external audio source, like the audio from a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod, into the left & right RCA-type connectors (shown at left), and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct-connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device. This device does not work like that.

Comes complete with all cables and connectors to connect this interface to your vehicle. See "Additional Add-on Items", shown below, for any additional cables or connectors you might need to connect your specific audio device to the RCA-type connectors on this interface.

Please Note: This is a direct-connect audio-only auxiliary input converter, and does not allow you to control the external audio device that is connected to it.
