Unlike most after-market line level components, OEM factory differential systems do not reference to -12VDC chassis ground. They float the system's negative ground approximately 6 VDC above chassis ground. The HRC-NISS95 Headunit Replacement Converter, one of many PIE Interface Differential Converters, rectify the negative ground difference between the line level and differential components, provide line level matching, eliminate noise, popping and distortion of the audio signal. The HRC-NISS95 plugs directly into the factory harness and has separate 4-channel gain controls. Makes replacing the Nissan-Nissan/Bose OEM headunit with an after-market headunit simple and fast.
