Product Description:
The JAGW-AUX Auxiliary Input Converter converts the CD Changer port of your OEM factory radio into an auxiliary input. With this converter installed, you can now connect any device that has RCA outputs directly to your radio without using an FM modulator. Compatible with all 2000 - 2002 Jaguar S-Type vehicles that are pre-wired for a CD changer, with the 12-pin CD changer connector located in the trunk. (This adapter will not work in the 2003 and up models.)

With this device installed, you will have created an auxiliary audio input to your factory radio, which will allow you to plug in any external audio source, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod, and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device. While this is a direct connect interface, it is only an audio connection and does not allow you to control the external audio device that is connected to it.
