Product Description:
The LND/PC-SON allows you to either add a Sony CD changer or use the device as an auxiliary audio input source connected DIRECTLY to a few 1998-2002 Land Rover factory radios (see Specific Vehicle Application List above) that have the 10-pin CD changer connector located under the passenger seat. Just plug it in, connect your audio source to the the RCA inputs on the LND/PC-SON and PLAY MUSIC!
With this device installed, you will have created an auxiliary audio input to your factory radio, which will allow you to plug in any external audio source, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPPO, and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device. While this is a direct connect interface, it is only an audio connection and does not allow you to control the external audio device that is connected to it.
The LND/PC-SON can also be used as a Sony CD Changer interface if no Aux source is installed. It is compatible with CDX-T68X, CDX-T69, CDX-T70MX and CDX-757MX Sony Uni-Link CD changers.
