2003-2008 Toyota-to-Sony CD Changer Interface

Now you can add an Sony CD changer to many 1998-2008 Toyota with the TOY03/PC-SON CD Changer Interface. The TOY03/PC-SON is designed to plug directly into the 12-pin connector in the rear of the factory radio, and will then connect to most of the Sony Uni-Link CD changers. (See specific application list below). The TOY03/PC-SON comes equipped with the new, smaller 12-pin mating plug and "Y" harness, making it compatible in vehicles equipped with factory steering wheel controls.

NOTE: You can also use this interface as an auxiliary input converter without connecting a Sony CD changer and connecting an audio device to the RCA connectors. With this device installed, you will have created an auxiliary audio input to your factory radio, which will allow you to plug in any external audio source, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod, and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device. While this is a direct connect interface, it is only an audio connection and does not allow you to control the external audio device that is connected to it.

Compatible with the following Sony CD changer: CDX-T68X; CDX-T69; CDX-T70MX

NOT compatible with Rear Seat Entertainment audio controls

NOT compatible with the 2003-2004 Matrix and Prius

NOT compatible with vehicles that have the factory navigation radio.

IS compatible with the factory 6-disc in-dash CD changer.

NOT compatible if equipped with factory XM or with the factory DVD changer.
