The PIE TOY/PC-ALP CD Changer Interface allows you to add an Alpine CD changer to many 1998 through 2005 Toyota vehicles with (Please see Specific Vehicle Application List below). The TOY/PC-ALP is designed to work with vehicles that have the factory steering wheel controls.
Installation is simple as this CD changer interface connects to the 12-pin connector that is located on the back of the factory radio, shown in the image at right. Depending on what factory options your vehicle has, there could already be a factory wiring harness plugged into the 12-pin radio connector. The wiring harness that comes with the interface is designed with a 'Y' connector that allows you to reconnect the factory wiring harness, if so equipped, once the interface is installed, keeping all existing factory options functional.

Compatible with most Alpine M-Bus CD changers like the CHM-S601, CHM-S620, and CHM-S630 6 Disc CD Changers as well as the Alpine CHA-S634 6 Disc MP3 CD Changer when used in conjunction with the ALP/Ai-M Interface Adapter.
Important Compatibility Information:
NOT compatible with vehicles whose factory radio has a face code of AD6806 or AD6807 printed on the front of the faceplate of the radio.
IS compatible with vehicles that have 6-disc in-dash CD changers.
NOT compatible with vehicles that have the navigation option
