Great Customer Service..... ....Not just a statement; its a policy!

These are unsolicited comments from our customers, both good and bad (the comments, not the customers). We did not edit the good ones nor leave out the bad ones! These comments go back over a full year and show that we have been committed to quality customer service for a long time. These comments are just as we received them, with all typos and misspellings included.

We don't win them all, as evidenced by a few 'Awful' ratings, but we do try! On some of the 'Awful' ones, we have made comments explaining where we messed up and what we have done to correct the situation so it doesn't happen again.

Body: Ordered a part from these guys and it arrived defective. Called customer service and was promised a replacement would be sent the same day. After a week went by I emailed them for a tracking number and instead got a reply saying that they were not sending me anything at all because I didn't fill out the online RMA form. I was not told to do this previously, I was just told the part would ship that day. So I filled out the form on a Friday, 4 days after my original complaint. It is now Monday evening and I haven't heard a word from them. I doubt they have sent anything yet and if they have I'd have no way of knowing. I guess I'm going to have to deal with the manufacturer to get this thing replaced as Logjam has left me without a paddle. I'm not a hard guy to please; if you say you are going to do something, you better well do it. Avoid this company.

Logjam Comment: This customer had a ligitiment complaint! We messed up his defective product replacement big time. Our established procedures in Customer Service for this kind of return were not effective in preventing this type of situation from occurring. We did send him his new replacement device on the Friday he called to ask about a tracking number, and there was a pre-paid UPS return label sent along with it....we just didn't tell him about it (another procedural mistake on our part). We believe our revised internal procedures will prevent this kind of mistake from happening again. If not, we're sure you'll see it here!

Body: Logjam offers helpful information so that you can purchase the correct product for your application. In this case, I wanted to be able to play my mp3 in my '03 civic. After reading the site's documentation, I was able to figure out which product would work for me. The order was quickly processed and shipped and the product installed easily. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Body: Terrible experience. I would not recommend using this company. Information misleading on their website. Return policy the worst I have ever seen. They do not accept returns of opened packaging but package must be opened to see product/instructions, etc. I got stuck with an unusable product and lost product cost, shipping expense. Also their prices are higher than other web stores that DO accept returns with no questions asked. I will voice complaints to any website that offers evaluations of web stores I am very sorry that I ever bought from this company and will NEVER buy from them again. I will tell all my friends and co-workers about my bad experience and make sure THEY never use this company. Horrible is the only word to describe them.

Logjam Comment: This customer made a product decision for his '05 Accord based entirely on the headline of the product page, which read: "P.I.E. HON98-AUX 1998-2005 Honda Auxiliary Input Converter." Further into the product description, actually in the first paragraph, we direct the customer to "see specific vehicle application list below" where, had he continued to read the information and looked in the Application List, he would have seen that the HON98-AUX is not compatible with the '05 Accord radio, and is only compatible with the Accord through 2002. In order to help limit the number of times customers make product decisions by just reading the headline of a product page, we have started adding the "See Specific Vehicle Application List below" note to the product page headings. There are over 500+ pages of product descriptions in the Logjam Electronics website, so this might take a few weeks! "You can lead a horse to water........"

Body: They have the cheapest prices for the product that I bought. The only problem I had with them was that I was not completely sure of all the components that I needed for the project that I was undertaking. However, after inquiring, their customer service apologized for my own mistake and told me what to get next. Product came within 5 days which is norm from them.
