The Soundgate ALNS1V2 will allow you to add an Alpine 6-disc CD changer to many 1998 through 2004 Nissan or Infiniti model vehicles (see vehicle-specific application list below). The ALNS1V2 is designed to plug directly into the 12-pin connector in the rear of the factory radio, and will then connect to most of the Alpine 6 disc CD changers.

Compatible with most Alpine M-Bus CD changers like the CHM-S601, CHM-S620, and Alpine CHM-S6306 Disc CD Changers as well as the Alpine CHA-S634 6 Disc MP3 CD Changer when used in conjunction with the ALP/Ai-M Interface Adapter.

By adding the Soundgate AUXCBLALP Alpine M-Bus-to-RCA Adapter cable (sold separately-see below for ordering), you can turn the ALNS1V2 into an auxiliary input converter, allowing the ALNS1V2 and AUXCBLALP to function as an auxiliary input converter. Simply install the Soundgate Alpine CD changer interface, and then plug the AUXCBLALP cable into the M-Bus connector on the interface, and then plug any external audio device into the left and right RCA inputs of the AUXCBLALP.

With this device installed, you will have created two auxiliary audio inputs to your factory radio, which will allow you to plug in any external audio sources, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod, and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device. While this is a direct connect interface, it is only an audio connection and does not allow you to control the external audio device that is connected to it.

Additional Add-on Items:

Convert the single auxiliary input of this device into three auxiliary inputs by adding the AUX3.

Add a Zune™ interface to this auxiliary input by adding the ZNCBLPAK Soundgate CORE™ Cable pack.

Add an iPOD® interface to this auxiliary input by adding the SoundGate PDCBLPAK CORE™ Cable pack. (Provides 5V charging for all new iPODs and iPhones, including the 3G)

Convert the RCA inputs on this device to a 3.5mm input by adding the PIE 3.5-RCA6MM Interface.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTE: The ALNS1V2 is NOT compatible with any Nissan or Infiniti factory radio with a 'SAT' button.
