The GMACC is an interface that provides a RAP (Retained Accessory Power) ignition in many 2001 and newer General Motors vehicles (See specific vehicle application below). Most new General Motors vehicles do not have an ignition-controlled voltage supply, as this function is accomplished via the digital network in the vehicle. Most aftermarket audio and video products require an ignition-controlled voltage source for proper operation. SoundGate's low-cost GMACC is the answer!
