The best interfaces sold on-line at Logjam ElectronicsThe SoundGate DIGISTARV3 interface allows you to replace the factory radio with an after-market radio, or after-market radio and after-market amplifier in many 2001 through 2006 OnStarTM equipped GM vehicles without losing the OnStar function or the warning chimes (see Specific Vehicle Application List below).

The DIGISTARV3 utilizes microprocessor control, ultra-reliable surface-mount construction, and advanced software design to broadcast incoming OnStar audio and warning chimes over the front speakers through your new after-market radio in your vehicle. The DIGISTARV3 features factory-matching connectors for fast, effortless installation.

This DIGISTARV3 is designed for use in GM vehicles with non-amplified factory sound systems or GM vehicles with amplified factory sound systems where the factory amp will NOT be used. NOTE: For vehicle applications with the Bose system, or where the factory amp will be retained, see DIGISTAR-XV2.
