Logjam Electronics pledges to earn your trust and will do what we can to make sure that you purchase the correct device for your application, and that the device will work properly when installed properly. Doing business with a company you can trust is critically important. Logjam Electronics here to provide a service, and a product, and to help connect you to your music.
These are your basic rights as a Logjam Electronics' customer :
- To have accurate, up-to-date application information about the products we sell, organized in an easy-to-find, user-friendly format so that an informed and accurate buying decision can be made on the proper part to purchase for the application needed.
- To have your products ship the same day if your order is placed on-line before 4:00pm (Eastern) on any business day.
- To have your products be brand new, unopened and packaged carefully into a brand new shipping carton, so that when your order arrives, the products will be in perfect condition.
- To get a free replacement product if the one purchased stops working within the first year from date of purchase
- To be able to return a product, free of any restocking fee, if we said the product is compatible with your vehicle's radio and it turns out it isn't. (Please allow 4-6 weeks from receipt of return for refund to be processed)
How Logjam Electronics Handles Defective Products:
(Does not include Closeout Items; see below for Closeout Items)
- If a product is defective within the first 30 days from the purchase date, we will replace the product free of charge and, we will send it to you free of charge and, we will include in the package a pre-paid UPS return shipping label so you can return the defective product back to us, free of charge. All you are required to do is fill out and submit a Defective Product Report prior to the replacement being sent.

- If a product becomes defective after 30 days, and for a full year from the original order date thereafter, we will still replace it free of charge and ship it to you free of charge. However, you will be responsible for the shipping of the product back to us first, and then the replacement will be sent. (Defective Product Report required)
Handling Other Product Returns: (Except Closeout Items; see below for Closeout Items)
All product returns except those defective product replacements must have an RMA number. To get an RMA number, fill out and submit the RMA Request Form.
- If you ordered a product that we said is compatible in a certain vehicle, with a certain radio, that has certain characteristics or buttons, (as described on our website page for that product) and you have that radio, and the device is determined to not be compatible, you can return the product, opened or not, for a full purchase price refund without any restocking fee charged, within the first 30 days from purchase date. (RMA is required)
- If you discover you ordered the "wrong" product:
- You can return and exchange the product for the correct product. If the "wrong" product is unopened, the full purchase price less 15% restocking fee will be credited towards the purchase price of the correct product. The return must be within the first 30 calendar days from the order date. (RMA is required)
- Or, the full purchase price of an opened wrong product, less a 25% restocking fee, credited towards the purchase of the correct product if the wrong product that is returned has been opened, and is returned within 30 days of purchase date (RMA is required)
- Please understand,, "wrong" products that have been opened, whether they have been installed or not, cannot be returned for a refund, for any reason.
- If you decide within the first 30 days from the order date that you do not want the product, you can return the product if unopened for a full purchase price refund, less 15% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are not refundable.(Please allow 4-6 weeks from receipt of return for refund to be processed) (RMA is required)
Closeout Items:
Logjam Electronics states that all closeout items have been bench-checked and are in complete and full working condition. However:
- Closeout items, unless otherwise stated, are sold "as is" and do not qualify for product returns for any reason, including non-compatibility or defective products.
- Any product defect issues on Closeout items will need to be addressed and handled through the product manufacturer.
- Logjam Electronics does not warrant, in any way, either stated or implied, the Closeout items being sold.
These are Logjam Electronics' rights as an on-line Retailer:
- The right to expect our customers to read all of the provided application information, or to contact us with questions on anything they do not understand about our application information, so the correct product for their application can be purchased.
- The right to protect ourselves from fraudulent or deceptive customers. To that end, these are the things we will NOT do:
- We will not accept any product back for refund or exchange for a different product after 30 days from the original purchase date, for any reason, except if we have been contacted about an issue with the purchase within the first 30 days from purchase date.
- We will not reimburse for any fees or costs for the installation or removal of products, for any reason, including defective products.
- We will not be responsible for any damage, or any implied damage, caused by the installation or use of any product we sell.
- We will not refund original shipping costs, for any reason, including defective products.
- We reserve the right to refuse the return of any product that has been damaged or broken from misuse or abuse, or improper installation, or is not returned complete with all the original product materials, including original product packaging, product packaging inserts and warranty cards, installation and operation instructions, all cables, all mounting hardware and screws.
- We reserve the right to replace defective products with a new replacement product, and will not be expected to give a refund on any defective product.
- The right to refuse a 'return for refund' of any non-defective product that has been opened, including but not limited to, wrongfully ordered products, or products determined to be 'not needed any longer'.
- We reserve the right to be given the opportunity to resolve any issue resulting from an attempted installation at a third-party business, where the third-party business alleges the purchased product is either defective, the wrong product, or is not compatible with your vehicle.
- We reserve the right to not accept the return of any product for refund that has been replaced by a third-party business as a result of our product being deemed inappropriate, defective or not compatible.
- The right to charge a 15% restocking fee to cover administrative charges and credit card processing fees involved in exchanging the wrong product for the right product if a customer misreads, or fails to read all of the product information and orders the wrong part.
Claims & Disputes: As a Logjam Electronics' customer, and the authorized user of the PayPal account or Credit Card used for your purchase, you agree that you will not initiate any chargeback or claim procedure with our Merchant Bank or with your credit card issuing bank without first providing Logjam Electronics an opportunity to resolve the claim or dispute, specifically when the dispute arises from your disagreement with the Terms and Conditions of Sale for your purchase.
